It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Inns Along the Coast - part II

Last week we started our armchair tour of the holiday decoration at the inns in the Southern Part of the Coast.  Click here for a return to see the beautiful decorations there.  In Part II of your tour, we'll take you Downeast to Rockland, Camden and Bar Harbor for a view of the beautiful and sometimes whimsical holiday decor you'll be treated to at our inns there.  Let's start in Rockland.

At Berry Manor Inn, the theme is Victorian, with plenty of red bows and candles inside and out and mantles decorated in Victorian styles.

Just a few streets over,  the LimeRock Inn, Nutcrackers take front and center...and up and down and every way.  The collection of Nutcrackers here is unmatched. Guests bring them from far and away to give to PJ, the collector.  The flying reindeer are a nice addition to the outside decor this year too.

And walking distance from both the Berry Manor Inn and LimeRock Inn, the Granite Inn offers a contemporary diversion from the more traditional Christmas decorations.  Look for a wall of ornaments, rather than a tree filled with them.

Next it's on to Camden, where the Hawthorn Inn offers more traditional holiday decor and the town brings in Santa by lobster boat to offer a holiday greeting.

The final leg of our armchair tour of holiday decorations at Inns Along the Coast takes us up to Bar Harbor.  It's Quiet Season now, when the sights and sounds of Bar Harbor include the seagull's cry and carolers in the square.  Tis the season to enjoy a winter time walk through Acadia and plenty of beautiful decorations of the season then enjoy a stay at Aysgarth Station B&B or Saltair Inn Waterfront B&B, both within an easy stroll of downtown Bar Harbor.
