What’s Cooking?

There are a lot of great reasons to stay at one of the Inns Along the Coast B&B’S; beautiful inns, comfortable beds, wonderful innkeepers and the opportunity to make new friends are just a few of the things on the list. However, top of the list has got to be waking up every morning to a delicious, homecooked breakfast.

Our innkeepers all know how to serve breakfast in style. After a good night's sleep, come down to fresh brewed coffee or tea and a delicious baked delicacy. Enjoy some fresh fruit and yoghurt before indulging yourself in one of the delicious homecooked entrées.

Eggs Benedict, pancakes, souffles, French toast and breakfast burritos are just some of the delicious menu items you will find at the breakfast table. Each innkeeper has their own style when it comes to breakfast, and they are as individual as the inns themselves.

Served in a bright and airy dining room The Granite Inn in Rockland serves fresh fruit and a baked goody before their entree. A favorite of their guests is a delicious lobster quiche complete with a pastry lobster baked on top.

Just WOW

Stayed here when my previous accommodations fell through; worked to my advantage! My room was huge and comfortable with a completely remodeled and upscale bathroom. But the best was the breakfast, absolutely delicious.

Take breakfast on the great terrace overlooking Penobscott Bay at Timbercliffe Cottage in Camden, their specialility? Blueberry pancakes. They always offer a side of Maine maple syrup with this delicious dish.

Stay here!

Kevin and Lucia were most gracious hosts. They were very helpful in giving advice for walking and exploring the area. Breakfast was amazing and just the right amount of food. Access to a pantry with a fridge was great as well. Everything we needed was there! Beautiful place with a view of the bay.

Up at Pilgrims Inn, breakfast is served in rustic barn overlooking Mill Pond. The guests' favorite breakfast at Deer Isle is apple and cheddar omelets with Applewood smoked bacon.

Outstanding Stay at Pilgrim's Inn!!

We recently had a 4 night stay at the Pilgrim's Inn on Deer Isle. We loved the location, off the beaten path, and so quiet and picturesque. Our view from our cottage was an amazing water view. We brought our dog Lobo and the 2 acre grounds were perfect for walking him. The innkeepers, were wonderful and available to answer any questions we had. A wonderful breakfast was included everyday.

Breakfast at the Waldo Emerson Inn is a community event with guests mingling at a family size table. The inn has been known to produce the most amazing Maine blueberry bread pudding as a special treat.

Perfect stay at the inn!

Amazing visit to Waldo Emerson Inn! I can’t express how wonderful the staff were during our visit. We had everything we needed and they made us feel at home and part of their family. The food was amazing!!!The inn has a rich history which we loved hearing about and was so accessible to Kennebunkport and surrounding areas. Can’t recommend them enough!
