Fall in love with Maine.

It’s been a busy summer and now our thoughts turn to fall. As sweater weather approaches, we begin to look forward to those cooler days and cozy nights.

Now is the perfect time to plan your visit to enjoy one of the loveliest times of the year in Maine. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or an autumn enthusiast, fall is a wonderful time to experience Maine is all its red and gold glory.

The trees start to change in the North of Maine earliest and by mid-October it’s a glorious riot of color all along the coast. It’s no wonder people flock to The Inns Along the Coast for romantic getaways at this time of year. What better way to spend a day than enjoying the spectacular scenery, then to come home to a warm fire and a comfortable bed. Start the next day with a delicious breakfast and do it all over again.

Our eight day fall foliage tour covers the best places to visit for leaf peeping but here’s a little photo montage to wet your appetite. All of the photographs have been supplied by our innkeepers  and show the inns and towns at their colorful best.

As always, our friendly and knowledgeable innkeepers are available to answer your questions or offer suggestions on the best ways to experience and enjoy the magnificence that is a Maine in full fall splendor.

Our rooms book up fast at this time of year so don’t delay. Check our Calendar for availability.
