Meet The Innkeepers (Part 3)

We continue our innkeeper meet and greet with our Kennebunkport Inns, Diane at The Inn at English Meadows, Julianna at the 1802 House Bed and Breakfast, and Kevin and Luca at Timbercliffe Cottage in Camden

Diane and her brother Jack and Jack’s wife Jane own The Inn at English Meadows with Diane managing the day to day operations. All three are seasoned owners of establishments along the Maine coast. Diane comes from a background in corporate marketing and when looking to become part of the Maine hospitality lifestyle, she initially purchased the Lighthouse Inn in York Beach, followed by the West End Inn, a lovely property in Portland's West End neighborhood. She is now the proud owner of the Inn at English Meadows.

Diane is managing the day to day running of the inn alongside her successful career in hospitality real estate practice with The Swan Agency.

Kevin, a Northern California native, and Lucia, originally from Prague, moved to Maine and Timbercliffe Cottage from corporate life in the Washington DC area in 2019. They have lived and travelled in many regions throughout the USA and the rest of the world and have picked up a wealth of knowledge about hospitality from their travels. They love the views of Penobscot Bay from the deck of their beautiful inn in Camden and playing host to travellers from all over the world.

Julianna, the innkeeper at The 1802 House Bed and Breakfast, comes from a hospitality background, her grandparents owned and operated eleven hotels in Maine including the Augusta House Hotel and she spent her childhood wandering the halls and dining rooms of this grand establishment.

A cultural anthropologist by profession, she speaks five different languages and has travelled extensively around the world. She returned to her home state of Maine several years ago and ran an inn in Wells before taking over as innkeeper at the 1802 House.
